“Rest assured that there will be no sudden developments in the currency market, just like the past year,” said the economy minister, easing worries about recent rally of the dollar. He described the recent fluctuations in currencies as “normal” and blamed them on external reasons.Ali Tayebnia reiterated the government’s commitment to turn the country around and told reporters, “the top priority in the economy ministry’s strategic plan is to increase the country’s production capacity and to provide sustainable and healthy revenues for the government.”
The ministry’s plan has seven priorities to revive the economy.
