    TSE Losses Mount

    Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, lost 17,824.37 points or 0.82% on Monday to end at 2,158,533.89 and the TSE equal-weighted index plunged 1.29%.

    About 10.1 billion shares worth 72.62 trillion rials ($161.4 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

    Dana Insurance Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 6.23% to 5,129 rials per share.

    Bahman Investment Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 6.52% to 5,880 rials per share.

    Middle East Mines and Mineral Industries Development Holding Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Mellat Bank, Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company and Telecommunication Company of Iran.

    Pars Petrochemical Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Zamyad Automotive Company, Eghtesad Novin Bank and Dana Insurance Company.

     

    IFX Loses 0.95%

    Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX lost 269.82 points or 0.95% to close Monday at 28,020.51.

    About 9.5 billion securities worth 2,553.65 trillion rials ($5.67 billion) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

    Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 588.66 million worth 768.46 billion rials ($1.7 million).

    Sepidar System Asia Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 5.51% to reach 95,700 rials per share.

    The big loser was Pegah Gilan Dairy Company plunging 6.65% to reach 24,550 rials per share.

    Sepehr Saderat Financial Group Investment Company, Arya Sasol Polymer Company, Hormozgan Steel Company and Iran Khodro Diesel Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

    Gohar Zamin Iron Ore Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Arfa Iron and Steel Company, Iranian Ghadir Iron and Steel Company and Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical Company.
