Thran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, gained 6,529.39 points or 0.30% on Monday to end at 2,196,131.30 while the TSE equal-weighted index gained 0.79%.
About 8.21 billion shares worth 60.11 trillion rials ($133.58 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Tuka Steel Investment Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 6.99% to 4,899 rials per share.
Glass And Gas Industries Group Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 4.99% to 36,340 rials per share.
Esfahan Oil Refining Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Bank Mellat, Tehran Oil Refining Company and Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company.
Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Chadormalu Mining And Industrial Company, Mobarakeh Steel Company and Mines and Metals Development Investment Company.
IFX Falls 0.07%
Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX lost 18.49 points or 0.07% to close Monday at 28,027.6.
About 9.45 billion securities worth 2,857.27 trillion rials ($6.35 billion) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 425.71 million worth 600.1 billion rials ($1.33 million).
Rishmak Production And Export Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.51% to reach 33,550 rials per share.
The big loser was Iranian Investment Development Company plunging 6.18% to reach 22,000 rials per share.
Sepehr Saderat Financial Group Investment Company, Arya Sasol Polymer Company, Sirjan Jahan Steel Complex and Hormozgan Steel Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Sepidar System Asia Company, Gohar Tarabar Sirjan Transportation Company and Jahrom Power Plant Development Company.
