Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, gained 26,985.41 points or 1.25% on Sunday to end at 2,189,601.7 and the TSE equal-weighted index climbed 0.98%.
About 10.11 billion shares worth 74.38 trillion rials ($154.5 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Tooka Foolad Investment Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 6.99% to 4,579 rials per share. Bank Saderat Iran was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 6.12% to 2,316 rials per share.
Bank Mellat had the most negative impact on TEDPIX, followed by Bank Tejarat Bank Saderat, Saipa Auto Company, Omid Investment Bank and the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines.
Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Esfahan Oil Refining Company, Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company, Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company and Noori Petrochemical Company.

Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX added 228.03 points or 0.82% to close Sunday at 28,064.1.
About 5.18 billion securities worth 53 trillion rials ($112.25 million) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Zayandeh Rood Housing Investment Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.77% to reach 15,130 rials per share.
The big loser was Pegah Golpayegan Dairy Company plunging 6.65% to reach 61,100 rials per share.
Jahan Foolad Sirjan Complex Company, South Hormozgan Steel Company, Iranol Oil Company and Saba Tamin Investment Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
Arya Sasol Polymer Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Sepehr Saderat Financial Group Investment Company, Lavan Oil Refining Company, Shiraz Oil Refining Company and Fara Bourse Iran Company.
