Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, lost 19,896.34 points or 0.91% on Sunday to end at 2,162,916.86 and the TSE equal-weighted index plunged 1.48%.
About 35.36 billion shares worth 158.78 trillion rials ($352.86 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Parsian Insurance Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 6.1% to 4,002 rials per share. Bank Sina was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 6.83% to 3,684 rials per share.
Iran Khodro Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Bank Mellat, Middle East Mines and Mineral Industries Development Holding Company and Telecommunication Company of Iran.
Chadormalu Mining And Industrial Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Tamin Petroleum and Petrochemical Investment Company, Iran Tractor Manufacturing Company and Iran Chemical Industries Investment Company.

Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX lost 394.17 points or 1.41% to close Sunday at 27,563.85.
About 6.09 billion securities worth 61.57 trillion rials ($136.83 million) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 818.86 million worth 1.14 trillion rials ($2.53 million).
A.S.P. Construction Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.97% to reach 12,270 rials per share.
The big loser was Shahdab Naab Khorasan Agro-Industry Company plunging 6.7% to reach 3,592 rials per share.
Sepehr Saderat Financial Group Investment Company, Iran Khodro Diesel Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company and Entekhab Electronic Arman Industrial Group Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
Pouya Zarkan Agh Darreh Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Bahar Rose Alis Chenaran Company, Omid Taban Hour Energy Management Company and Goldiran Industries Company.
