Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, gained 26,909.2 points or 2.84% on Wednesday to end at 2,182,106.86 and the TSE equal-weighted index climbed 1.21%.
About 8.59 billion shares worth 65.465 trillion rials ($133.6 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Iran Tire Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 6.99% to 2,846 rials per share.
Khavar Spring Manufacturing Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 5.99% to 16,020 rials per share.
Mobarakeh Steel Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by National Iranian Copper Industries Company, Esfahan Oil Refining Company, Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company and Buali Sina Petrochemical Company.
Tamin Petroleum and Petrochemical Investment Company had the most negative impact on TEDPIX, followed by Pars Petrochemical Company, Jam Petrochemical Company, Pars Switch Company, and Vehicle Axle Manufacture Company.

Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX also gained 368.63 points or 1.33% to close Wednesday at 27,994.46.
About 7.26 billion securities worth 62.980 trillion rials ($128 million) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 1.23 billion worth 1.54 trillion rials ($3.12 million).
Ava Novin Investment Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.99% to reach 4,529 rials per share.
The big loser was Ghadir Iranian Iron and Steel Company plunging 6.95% to reach 8,430 rials per share.
Sepehr Saderat Financial Group Investment Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Zagros Petrochemical Company, Arya Sasol Polymer Company, Iran Khodro Diesel Company and Entekhab Electronic Arman Industrial Group Company.
Ghadir Iranian Iron and Steel Company, Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical Company, Marun Petrochemical Company and Ghaed Basir Petrochemical Products Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
