    Shares Muted

    Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, lost 1,110.43 points or 0.05% in muted trading on Wednesday to end at 2,288,439.03 while the TSE equal-weighted index edged up a poor 0.03%.

    About 9.48 billion shares worth 69.3 trillion rials ($154.02 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

    Darou Pakhsh Holding Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 6.64% to 30,520 rials per share.

    Alborz Insurance Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 6.37% to 3,498 rials per share.

    Esfahan Oil Refining Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company, Tejarat Bank and Bank Saderat.

    Social Security Investment Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Tamin Petroleum and Petrochemical Investment Company, Parsian Bank and Darou Pakhsh Holding Company.

     

    IFX Rises 0.07%

    Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained 19.11 points or 0.07% to close Wednesday at 28,963.5.

    About 9.84 billion securities worth 2,938.75 trillion rials ($6.53 billion) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

    Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 539.6 million worth 791.09 billion rials ($1.7 million).

    Pegah Golpayegan Dairy Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.99% to reach 48,200 rials per share.

    The big loser was Khazar Caspian Wood Industry Company plunging 6.03% to reach 85,000 rials per share.

    Sepehr Saderat Financial Group Investment Company, Saba Tamin Investment Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company and Omid Taban Hour Energy Management Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

    Pasargad Insurance Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical Company, Hormozgan Steel Company and Maadiran Industries Company.
