Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, gained 9,866.47 points or 0.43% on Tuesday to end at 2,289,549.02 and the TSE equal-weighted index was up 0.66%.
About 10.96 billion shares worth 86.82 trillion rials ($192.93 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Kaveh Paper Industries Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 15.35% to 27,200 rials per share.
Etebar Iran Investment Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 5.52% to 6,500 rials per share.
Kharg Petrochemical Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Pardis Petrochemical Company, MAPNA Group Company and Nouri Petrochemical Company.
Mellat Bank gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Iran Khodro Company, Pars Petrochemical Company and Tamin Petroleum and Petrochemical Investment Company.

Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained 131.06 points or 0.45% to close Tuesday at 28,944.4.
About 7.07 billion securities worth 91.6 trillion rials ($203.53 million) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 547.95 million worth 809.57 billion rials ($1.8 million).
Pegah Golestan Dairy Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 14.5% to reach 38,700 rials per share.
The big loser was Afranet Company plunging 5.95% to reach 30,050 rials per share. Saba Tamin Investment Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company, Maadiran Industries Company and Sarcheshmeh Copper Investment Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
Pasargad Insurance Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Iranian Ghadir Iron and Steel Company, Iran Khodro Diesel Company and Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical Company.
