    Stocks Waver

    Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, lost 23,350.32 points or 1.01% on Saturday to end at 2,297,985.45 while the TSE equal-weighted index dipped 0.54%.

    About 14.53 billion shares worth 119.3 trillion rials ($265.11 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

    Silica Sand Supplier Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 6.43% to 13,250 rials per share. Sepahan Industrial Group was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 6.96% to 9,090 rials per share.

    Mobarakeh Steel Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by National Iranian Copper Industries Company, Tamin Petroleum and Petrochemical Investment Company and Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company.

    Mellat Bank gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Opal Kani Pars Mining and Processing Company, Khorasan Petrochemical Company and Zamyad Automotive Company.

     

     

    IFX Loses 0.57%

    Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX lost 166.25 points or 0.57% to close Saturday at 28,916.48. About 9.89 billion securities worth 416.9 trillion rials ($926.44 million) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

    Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 1.78 billion worth 2.77 trillion rials ($6.17 million).

    Iranian Zinc and Lead Production Development Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.93% to reach 9,100 rials per share.

    The big loser was Iran Shargh Leasing Company plunging 6.74% to reach 8,440 rials per share.

    Arya Sasol Polymer Company, Lavan Oil Refining Company, Shiraz Oil Refining Company and Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

    Bahman Diesel Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Day Bank, Kowsar Insurance Company and Maadiran Industries Company.
