    TEDPIX Jumps 1.52% 

    Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, gained 37,690.86 points or 1.52% on Tuesday to end at 2,518,331.79.The TSE equal-weighted index climbed 2.48%.

    About 23.74 billion shares worth 181.7 trillion rials ($403.77 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

    Telecommunication Company of Iran led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 18.09% to 15,860 rials per share. Isfahan Cement Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 3.11% to 262,520 rials per share.

    Pardis Petrochemical Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Shiraz Petrochemical Company, Sepahan Oil Company and Tamin Petroleum and Petrochemical Investment Company.

    Mobarakeh Steel Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Telecommunication Company of Iran, Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company and Middle East Mines and Mineral Industries Development Holding Company.

     

     

    IFX Rises 1.85%

    Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained 577.5 points or 1.85% to close Tuesday at 31,722.43. About 9.33 billion securities worth 202.86 trillion rials ($450.81 million) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

    Sepehr Saderat Financial Group Investment Company had the highest number of traded shares at 9 billion worth 59.58 trillion rials ($134.4 million).

    Maskan Pardis Investment Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 7% to reach 14,370 rials per share.

    The big loser was Northeast Shahroud Industrial and Mining Company plunging 2.58% to reach 181,550 rials per share.

    Arya Sasol Polymer Company, Gohar Zamin Iron Ore Company, Lavan Oil Refining Company and Goharan Omid Development Investment Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

    Hormozgan Steel Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Sepehr Saderat Financial Group Investment Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company and Entekhab Electronic Arman Industrial Group Company.
