The monetary base shot up again in the eleventh calendar month to February 21, the Central Bank of Iran reported.
It was near 8,086 trillion rials ($15.43 billion) -- up 33.9% in eleven months since the beginning of fiscal year in March 2022, but rose 39.2% in 12 months, which was down 1.2 percentage points from annualized growth of 35.8% last year.
The CBI released data on broad money, tagging it at 61,034.4 trillion rials ($116.4b) during the period -- up 26.3% in eleven months.
On an annualized basis, broad money jumped 32% during the eleven months to February 22, which was lower on the annual growth percentage in the first eleven months last year at 39%.
