Tehran Stock Exchange set new records in the week with daily retail transactions breaking a 27-month record with 195.63 trillion rials ($391.2 million) and the overall index  registering a historic record climbing over 25,000 points last Saturday. 
At the end of the week's last working day, the overall index reached 2,179,000 points, which was 42,460 points, or 1.9%, higher than the last trading day of the previous week. 
The equal-weighted index was 41,877 points higher than the previous week, and the weekly growth rose 6.4%, Ecoiran reported.
The first trading day of the week closed with 25,478-point growth in the overall index, which was unprecedented in the known positive changes of this index. In addition, retail transaction reached 179.50 trillion rials ($359 million) and fresh capital inflow of 12.54 trillion rials ($25 million) was recorded for the stock market on that day. 
Average daily retail transaction for the week reached 168.22 trillion rials ($336.4 million), which was unprecedented since March 2022, up 24% on the previous week's 135.39 trillion rials ($270.78 million).
The average value of stock market transactions in the week was 803.42 trillion rials ($1.6 billion), down 22% on the previous week.
