Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, lost 22,336.64 points or 1.01% on Monday to end at 2,190,307.22 and the TSE equal-weighted index shed 0.05%.
About 23.38 billion shares worth 163.87 trillion rials ($364.16 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Iran Tire Company led the winner’s list with shares up 6.99% to 2,402 rials per share. Khouzestan Cement Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 5.96% to 52,660 rials per share.
Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Mobarakeh Steel Company, National Iranian Copper Industries Company and Middle East Mines and Mineral Industries Development Holding Company.
Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Tehran Oil Refining Company, Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company and Persian Gulf Fajr Energy Company.

Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained 65.09 points or 0.24% to close Monday at 27,552.68.
About 14.8 billion securities worth 2,135.92 trillion rials ($4.74 billion) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 1.19 billion worth 1.33 trillion rials ($2.95 million). Middle East life Insurance Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.95% to reach 3,755 rials per share.
The big loser was Goldasht Nemooneh Isfahan Agro-Livestock Company plunging 5.52% to reach 21,400 rials per share.
Arya Sasol Polymer Company, Hormozgan Steel Company, Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical Company and Pasargad Insurance Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
Marun Petrochemical Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Sepehr Saderat Financial Group Investment Company, Sirjan Jahan Steel Complex and Zagros Petrochemical Company.
