Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, gained 11,239.59 points or 0.54% on Monday to end at 2,089,951.31 and the TSE equal-weighted index climbed 1.32%.
About 18.84 billion shares worth 128.7 trillion rials ($285.9 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Nirou Trans Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 6.91% to 5,520 rials per share. Gorji Biscuit Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 4.6% to 2,115 rials per share.
Mobarakeh Steel Company had the most negative impact on TEDPIX, followed by National Iranian Copper Industries Company, Nouri Petrochemical Company and Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company.
Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Middle East Mines and Mineral Industries Development Holding Company, Iran Khodro Company and the MAPNA Group.
IFX Adds 0.86%
Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX was up 217.9 points or 0.86% to close Monday at 25,578.59.
About 10.01 billion securities worth 536.9 trillion rials ($1.19 billion) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange.
Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 1.88 billion worth 2.09 trillion rials ($4.65 million).
Pegah Golpayegan Dairy Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.93% to reach 40,900 rials per share.
The big loser was A.S.P Construction Company plunging 6.35% to reach 9,740 rials per share.
Marun Petrochemical Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company, Gohar Zamin Iron Ore Company and Ghaed Basir Petrochemical Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
Arya Sasol Polymer Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Sepehr Saderat Financial Group Investment Company, Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical Company and Lavan Oil Refining Company.
