    Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, lost 10,285.44 points or 0.57% on Monday to end at 1,785,669.75 but the TSE equal-weighted index gained 0.13%.

    About 11.65 billion shares worth 75.5 trillion rials ($167.8 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

    Behsaz Kashane Tehran Construction Company led the winning side as its shares climbed 6.98% to 2,053 rials per share.

    Nirou Trans Company was the main laggard among all TSE-listed companies plunging 6.62% to 3,301 rials per share.

    Mobarakeh Steel Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Middle East Mines and Mineral Industries Development Holding Company, MAPNA Group and Esfahan Oil Refining Company.

    Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark, followed by Pars Petrochemical Company, Ghadir Investment Company and Fars and Khouzestan Cement Company.

     

     

    IFX Slips 0.27%

    Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX lost 62.44 points or 0.27% to close Monday at 22,721.81.

    About 7.48 billion securities worth 1,979.31 trillion rials ($4.4 billion) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

    Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 384.67 million worth 318.76 billion rials ($708,368). Chlor Pars Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.78% to reach 60,600 rials per share.

    The big loser was Kish Parsian Electronic Commerce Company plunging 6.56% to reach 11,260 rials per share.

    Pasargad Insurance Company, Pouya Zarkan Agh Darreh Company, Iranian Ghadir Iron and Steel Company and Hormozgan Steel Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

    Entekhab Electronic Arman Industrial Group gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Saveh Cement Company, Chlor Pars Company and Sarcheshmeh Copper Investment Company.
