Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, gained 8,570.88 points or 0.56% on Sunday to end at 1,533,366.46. The TSE equal-weighted index gained 0.41%.
About 8.2 billion shares worth 56.88 trillion rials ($126.4 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Iran Construction Investment Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 7.12% to 1,942 rials per share. Zamyad Automotive Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 5.86% to 3,568 rials per share.
Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company had the highest negative impact on TEDPIX, followed by Zamyad, Pardis Petrochemical Company and Pars National Agro-Industry and Animal Husbandry Company.
Mobarakeh Steel Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by National Iranian Copper Industries Company, Khouzestan Steel Company and Nouri Petrochemical Company.
IFX Rises 0.65%
Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained 129.12 points or 0.65% to close Sunday at 20,042.9.
About 7.27 billion securities worth 89.38 trillion rials ($259.96 million) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day. Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 362.02 million worth 276.25 billion rials ($613,898).
Zayandeh Rood Housing investment Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.89% to reach 12,570 rials per share. The big loser was Mobin One Kish Company plunging 5.69% to reach 11,630 rials per share.
Day Bank, Kowsar Bahman Investment Management Company, Pakdis Company and Artawheel Tire Industrial Complex had the most negative impact on IFX.
Zagros Petrochemical Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Arfa Iron and Steel Company, Hormozgan Steel Company and Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical Company.
