Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, lost 13,166.49 points or 0.86% on Wednesday to end at 1,524,795.03. The TSE equal-weighted index plunged 0.96%.
About 7.29 billion shares worth 46.2 trillion rials ($107.9 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Sina Bank led the winning side as its shares jumped 6.16% to 3,172 rials per share. Iran Combine Manufacturing Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies falling 6.26% to 5,240 rials per share.
Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company, Middle East Mines and Industries Development Company, National Iranian Copper Industries Company and the carmaker Saipa.
Sina Bank gave the biggest boost to the benchmark followed by Dana Insurance Company, Amin Reinsurance Company, Dashtestan Cement Industries Company and Shahid Bahonar Cooper Company.

Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX lost 116.70 points or 0.56% to close Wednesday at 19,913.78. About 5.43 billion securities worth 89.3 trillion rials ($278.3 million) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 362 million worth 280 billion rials ($1.01 million).
Ghadir Iranian Iron and Steel Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.91% to reach 6,190 rials per share.
The main laggard was Avicenna Laboratories Public Joint Stock Company plunging 5.94% to reach 6,970 rials per share.
Arya Sasol Polymer Company, Shahid Tondgouyan Petrochemical Company, Pasargad Insurance Company and Alborz Distribution Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
Ghadir Iranian Iron and Steel Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Goharan Omid Investment Development Company, Gohar Zamin Iron Ore Company and Gohar Tarabar Sirjan Transportation Company.
