Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, lost 12,103.18 points or 0.78% on Sunday to end at 1,545,978.32. The TSE equal-weighted index lost 0.97%.
About 7.42 billion shares worth 49.53 trillion rials ($170.82 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Iran Manganese Mines Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 5.23% to 11,870 rials per share.
Iran Construction Investment Company was main laggard among all TSE-listed companies plunging 6.51% to 1,608 rials per share.
Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Pardis Petrochemical Company, National Iranian Copper Industries Company and Esfahan Oil Refining Company.
Chadormalu Mining And Industrial Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Esfahan Steel Company, Alborz Insurance Company and Isfahan Cement Company.
IFX Falls 0.9%
Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX lost 182.87 points or 0.9% to close Sunday at 20,096.19. About 4.87 billion securities worth 55.44 trillion rials ($191.1m) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 800.74 million worth 630.71 billion rials ($2.17m). Rail Seir Kousar Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.5% to reach 23,750 rials per share.
The big loser was Iranian Zinc and Lead Production Development Company plunging 6.03% to reach 6,700 rials per share.
Arya Sasol Polymer Company, Pasargad Insurance Company, Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical Company and Day Bank had the most negative impact on IFX.
Pouya Zarkan Agh Darreh Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Gohar Tarabar Sirjan Transportation Company, Jahrom Power Plant Development Company and Gohar Zamin Iron Ore Company.
