TEDPIX Loses 2,330 Points 

Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, lost 2,330.31 points or 0.15% on Monday to end at 1,537,859.09. The TSE equal-weighted index lost 0.82%.

About 8.66 billion shares worth 49.16 trillion rials ($169.54 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

Petrochemical Industries Investment Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 6.93% to 15,120 rials per share.

Machine Sazi Arak Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 7.67% to 1,505 rials per share.

Middle East Mines and Mineral Industries Development Holding Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Pardis Petrochemical Company, Pasargad Bank and Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company.

National Iranian Copper Industries Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Mobarakeh Steel Company, Mellat Bank and Esfahan Oil Refining Company.

 

 

IFX Tumbles 0.58%

Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX lost 117.07 points or 0.58% to close Monday at 19,920.27.

About 7.22 billion securities worth 2,376.41 trillion rials ($8.19 billion) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 601.86 million worth 504.7 billion rials ($1.74 million).

Alvand Maskan Investment Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.42% to reach 13,600 rials per share.

The big loser was Mobin One Kish Company plunging 6.69% to reach 12,980 rials per share.

Pasargad Insurance Company, Arya Sasol Polymer Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company and Omid Taban Hour Energy Management Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

Melal Credit Institution gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Iran Ferroalloy Industries Company, Iranol Oil Company and Day Bank.
