Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, gained 1,024.81 points or 0.06% on Monday to end at 1,653,948.58. The TSE equal-weighted index gained 0.53%.
About 15.33 billion shares worth 87.8 trillion rials ($302.85 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Goltash Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 6.98% to 5,980 rials per share. Khavar Spring Manufacturer Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 4.51% to 11,430 rials per share.
Iran Khodro Company had the most negative impact on TEDPIX, followed by Middle East Mines and Mineral Industries Development Holding Company, Esfahan Oil Refining Company and Social Security Investment Company.
National Iranian Copper Industries Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Mobarakeh Steel Company, Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company and Shiraz Petrochemical Company.
IFX Rises 0.42%
Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained 88.37 points or 0.42% to close Monday at 21,351.58.
About 9.78 billion securities worth 2,262.96 trillion rials ($7.8 billion) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 665.44 million worth 578.71 billion rials ($1.99 million). Khorasan Cotton and Oil Seeds Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.98% to reach 5,975 rials per share.
The big loser was Alvand Maskan Investment Company plunging 5.74% to reach 11,330 rials per share.
Sepehr Saderat Financial Group Investment Company, Pouya Zarkan Agh Darreh Company, Melal Credit Institution and Bahman Diesel Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
Marun Petrochemical Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Zagros Petrochemical Company, Arya Sasol Polymer Company and Tabas Parvardeh Coal Company.
