    Stocks 2.33% Higher

    Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, gained 37,167.71 points or 2.33% on Sunday to end at 1,635,229.22. The TSE equal-weighted index gained 2.14%.

    About 19.85 billion shares worth 105.63 trillion rials ($364.3 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

    Kharazmi Investment Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 6.98% to 4,534 rials per share.

    Bahman Investment Group Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 5.57% to 4,032 rials per share.

    Pardis Petrochemical Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines Company, Saipa auto company and Bahman Investment Group.

    Mobarakeh Steel Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company, Social Security Investment Company and Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company.

     

     

    IFX Rises 2.42%

    Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained 489.93 points or 2.42% to close Sunday at 20,757.58.

    About 6.8 billion securities worth 76.94 trillion rials ($265.3m) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

    Kerman Province Development Investment Company had the highest number of traded shares at 1.06 billion worth 1.07 trillion rials ($3.7m).

    Eghtesade Shahr Tobi Investment Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.97% to reach 2,316 rials per share.

    The big loser was Dena Afarin Fadak Food Preparation and Distribution Company plunging 6.94% to reach 14,080 rials per share.

    Bahman Diesel Company, Dena Afarin Fadak Food Preparation and Distribution Company, Fka Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Company and Goldasht Nemooneh Isfahan Agro-Livestock Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

    Arya Sasol Polymer Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Pasargad Insurance Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company and Saba Tamin Investment Company.
