Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, slumped by another 26,130.25 points or 1.64% on Sunday to end at 1,564,365.67. The TSE equal-weighted index lost 2.43%.
About 13.37 billion shares worth 74.9 trillion rials ($258.26 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Bahman Investment Group Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 6.84% to 4,204 rials per share.
Fars Chemical Industries Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 5.77% to 1,192 rials per share.
Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Mobarakeh Steel Company, Middle East Mines and Mineral Industries Development Holding Company and National Iranian Copper Industries Company.
Iran Khodro Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Saipa Automaker Company, Dana Insurance Company and Bahman Investment Group Company.
IFX Slips 0.51%
Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gave up 101.9 points or 0.51% to close Sunday at 20,024.55.
About 6.73 billion securities worth 124.47 trillion rials ($429.23m) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 601.36 million worth 414.68 billion rials ($1.43m).
Kosar Bahman Investment Management Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.99% to reach 3,122 rials per share.
The big loser was Asia Seir Aras Company plunging 6.39% to reach 9,090 rials per share.
Arya Sasol Polymer Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company, Iranian Ghadir Iron and Steel Company and Tajali Mines and Metals Development Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
Pasargad Insurance Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Gohar Zamin Iron Ore Company, Bahman Diesel Company and Melal Credit Institution.
