    Shares Stage Big Comeback 

    Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, gained 41,802.36 points or 2.79% on Saturday to end at 1,538,003.22. The TSE equal-weighted index jumped 2.37%.

    About 12.71 billion shares worth 73.9 trillion rials ($254.8 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

    Bahman Investment Group Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 6.97% to 3,083 rials per share.

    Marvdasht Sugar Company was the main loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 3.22% to 10,820 rials per share.

    Dana Insurance Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Saman Kish Electronic Payment Company, Asiatech Data Transmission Company and Marvdasht Sugar Company.

    Mobarakeh Steel Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company, National Iranian Copper Industries Company and Esfahan Oil Refining Company.

     

    IFX Rises 1.91%

    Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained 365.28 points or 1.91% to close Saturday at 19,538.22.

    About 6.92 billion securities worth 67.63 trillion rials ($233.2m) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

    Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 624.5 million worth 434.99 billion rials ($1.5m).

    Sina Port and Marine Services Development Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 21.24% to reach 10,790 rials per share.

    The big loser was Northeast Shahroud Industrial and Mining Company plunging 3.61% to reach 109,350 rials per share.

    Pasargad Insurance Company, Omid Taban Hour Energy Management Company, Goharan Omid Development Investment Company and Northeast Shahroud Industrial and Mining Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

    Arya Sasol Polymer Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Gohar Zamin Iron Ore Company, Sirjan Jahan Steel Complex and Saba Tamin Investment Company.
