    TEDPIX Drops 1.36%

    Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, lost 19092.52 points or 1.36% on Saturday to end at 1,383,737.53. TSE equal-weighted index lost 1.02%.

    About 8.1 billion shares worth 46.19 trillion rials ($129.4 million) changed hands on the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

    Petrochemical Industry Investment Company led the winning side as its shares jumped 6.93% to 12,350 rials per share.

    Sina Tile and Ceramic Industries Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 6.28% to 41,940 rials per share.

    Middle East Mines and Mineral Industries Development Holding Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Mobarakeh Steel Company, Bank Pasargad Iran, Bandar Abbas Refining Company and Iran Khodro Company.

    Rena Industrial Group Investment Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Petrochemical Industry Investment Company, Vehicle Axle Manufacturing Company and Dashtestan Cement Company.

     

    IFX Gives Up 0.58%

    Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX lost 108.2 points or 0.58% to close Saturday at 18,455.34.

    About 4.85 billion securities worth 425.2 trillion rials ($1.18 billion) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

    Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 360 million worth 213.7 billion rials ($597,044).

    Iranian Ghadir Iron and Steel Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.86% to reach 14,010 rials per share.

    The big loser was Atrin Nakh Qom Company plunging 6.42% to reach 5,830 rials per share.

    Arya Sasol Polymer Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company, Shiraz Oil Refining Company, Saba Tamin Investment Company and Lavan Oil Refining Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

    Iranian Ghadir Iron and Steel Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Minoo Food Industries Company, Pouya Zarkan Aghdareh Company, Artavil Tire Industrial Complex and Lar Sabzevar Cement Company.
