Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, gained 3,167.82 points or 0.22% on Wednesday to end at 1,417,371.78. The TSE equal-weighted index improved slightly by 0.11%.
About 5.57 billion shares worth 34.85 trillion rials ($120.18 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Navard Aluminium Manufacturing Group Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 6.89% to 5,430 rials per share.
Mellat Leasing Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 5.77% to 4,456 rials per share.
Iran Khodro Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Mellat Bank, Saipa Automaker Company and Pasargad Bank.
The National Iranian Copper Industries Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by National Development Investment Group Company, Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company and Esfahan Oil Refining Company.

Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained 7.6 points or 0.04% to close Wednesday at 18,691.04.
About 3.43 billion securities worth 81.03 trillion rials ($279.43m) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 228.6 million worth 141.46 billion rials ($487,813).
Saina Hygienic Industries Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.94% to reach 61,650 rials per share.
The big loser was Atrin Nakh Qom Company plunging 5.78% to reach 6,190 rials per share.
Pasargad Insurance Company, Iranian Ghadir Iron and Steel Company, Pouya Zarkan Agh Darreh Company and Bahman Diesel Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
Minoo Industrial Group Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Ghaed Basir Petrochemical Company, Day Insurance Company and Arfa Iron and Steel Company.
