Tehran Stock Exchange main index, TEDPIX, gained 5,855.91 points or 0.42% on Tuesday to end at 1,414,204.59.The TSE equal-weighted index was up 0.72%.
About 6.33 billion shares worth 36.4 trillion rials ($125.5 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Telecommunication Company of Iran led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 6.95% to 6,310 rials per share.
Esfahan Cement Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 5% to 61,760 rials per share.
Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Iran Khodro Company, Saipa Automaker Company and Iran Khodro Investment Development Company.
National Iranian Copper Industries Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Nouri Petrochemical Company, Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company and Telecommunication Company of Iran.

Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained 46.17 points or 0.25% to close Tuesday at 18,683.44.
About 31.54 billion securities worth 158.35 trillion rials ($546m) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Kerman Province Development Investment Company had the highest number of traded shares at 510.57 million worth 433.61 billion rials ($1.49 million).
Kimyagaran Emrooz Chemical Industries Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 9.75% to reach 6,530 rials per share.
The big loser was General Mechanic Company plunging 4.43% to reach 12,070 rials per share.
Zagros Petrochemical Company, Damavand Power Generation Company, General Mechanic Company and Maadiran Industries Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
Marun Petrochemical Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Shiraz Oil Refining Company, Lavan Oil Refining Company and Kimyagaran Emrooz Chemical Industries Company.
