Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, gained 2,145.87 points or 0.15% on Monday to end at 1,408,348.52. The TSE equal-weighted index gained 0.25%.
About 65.58 billion shares worth 146.36 trillion rials ($504.71 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 7.06% to 24,560 rials per share. The Industry and Mine Leasing Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 6.06% to 3,134 rials per share.
Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Pars Oil Company, Pars Petrochemical Company and Iran Khodro Investment Development Company.
Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Esfahan Oil Refining Company, Social Security Investment Company and Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company.
IFX Adds 0.45%
Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained 83.21 points or 0.45% to close Monday at 18,637.27.
About 5.49 billion securities worth 1,406.61 trillion rials ($4.85 billion) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 302.06 million worth 186.76 billion rials ($644,017).
Kharazmi IT Development Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.88% to reach 6,840 rials per share.
The big loser was Daroupakhsh (pharmaceutical) Distribution Company plunging 4.34% to reach 23,150 rials per share.
Daroupakhsh, Bahman Diesel Company, Daana Pharmaceutical Company and Marun Petrochemical Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
Arya Sasol Polymer Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Zagros Petrochemical Company, Pouya Zarkan Agh Darreh Company and Shiraz Oil Refining Company.
