Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, lost 2,020.78 points or 0.14% on Sunday to end at 1,406,190.35. The TSE equal-weighted index gained 0.13%.
About 7.84 billion shares worth 44.98 trillion rials ($155.12 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Ama Industrial Company led the winning group as its shares jumped 6.86% to 7,480 rials per share. West Azarbaijan Pegah Dairy Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 6.71% to 6,400 rials per share.
Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company, Tehran Oil Refining Company and Parsian Oil and Gas Development Group Company.
Omid Investment Management Group Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by National Iranian Copper Industries Company, Iran Khodro Company and Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company.
IFX Falls 0.06%
Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX lost 10.84 points or 0.06% to close Sunday at 18,554.05.
About 3.9 billion securities worth 171.42 trillion rials ($591m) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 257.66 million worth 160.6 billion rials ($553,803).
Middle East Life Insurance Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.91% to reach 2,289 rials per share.
The big loser though was Dena Afarin Fadak Food Preparation and Distribution Company plunging 6.92% to reach 9,550 rials per share.
Arya Sasol Polymer Company, Iranian Ghadir Iron and Steel Company, Pasargad Insurance Company and Bahman Diesel Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
Damavand Power Generation Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Iran Cultural Heritage and Tourism Investment Group Company, Kowsar Insurance Company and Tabas Parvardeh Coal Company.
