Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, lost 1,979.91 points or 0.14% on Saturday to end at 1,408,208.95.
The TSE equal-weighted index gained 0.2%.
About 6.87 billion shares worth 50.37 trillion rials ($173.7 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Housing Investment Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 6.48% to 3,995 rials per share.
Pegah Khorasan Dairy Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 4.87% to 5,670 rials per share.
Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Tehran Oil Refining Company, Esfahan Oil Refining Company and National Iranian Copper Industries Company.
Iran Khodro Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines Company, Saipa Automaker Company and National Development Investment Group Company.
IFX Falls 0.16%
Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX lost 29.01 points or 0.16% to close Saturday at 18,564.82.
About 3.55 billion securities worth 201.68 trillion rials ($695.47 million) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 263.16 million worth 165.55 billion rials ($570,886).
Kharazmi IT Development Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.97% to reach 5,990 rials per share.
The big loser was Rayan Ham-Afza Company plunging 6.06% to reach 46,500 rials per share.
Arya Sasol Polymer Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company, Lavan Oil Refining Company and Iranian Ghadir Iron and Steel Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
Bahman Diesel Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Daroupakhsh Distribution Company, Chaharmahal Food Products and Sugar Company and Negin Software Systems Development Company.
