Stock Market Sluggish 

Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, gained 2,285.47 points or 0.16% on Tuesday to end at 1,410,459.71 and the TSE equal-weighted index added 0.25%.

About 5.62 billion shares worth 40.23 trillion rials ($138.7 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

Bama Mining Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 6.53% to 5,220 rials per share.

Persian Gulf International Transportation Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 4.55% to 12,800 rials per share.

Pars Petrochemical Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Mines and Metals Development Investment Company, Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company and Mellat Bank.

Iran Khodro Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Persian Gulf Fajr Energy Company, Ghadir Investment Company and Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company.

 

 

IFX Hardly Up

Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained 12.2 points or 0.07% to close Tuesday at 18,431.21.

About 4.01 billion securities worth 139.96 trillion rials ($482.65m) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 331.53 million worth 212.15 billion rials ($731,558).

Mobin One Kish Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.78% to reach 16,390 rials per share.

The big loser was Tuka Paint Foolad Sepahan Company falling 5.82% to reach 12,630 rials per share.

Iranian Ghadir Iron and Steel Company, Pouya Zarkan Agh Darreh Company, Iranian Reinsurance Company and Minoo Industrial Group Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Takhte Jamshid Petrochemical Industries Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company and Saba Tamin Investment Company.
