TEDPIX Down 0.77%

Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, lost 10,965.69 points or 0.77% on Monday to end at 1,408,174.25. The TSE equal-weighted index lost 0.75%.

About 6.84 billion shares worth 42.8 trillion rials ($147.6 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

Toos Gostar Urban Development Investment Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 5.3% to 7,950 rials per share.

Iranian Leasing Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 6.29% to 3,265 rials per share.

Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by National Iranian Copper Industries Company, Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company and Esfahan Oil Refining Company.

Fanavaran Petrochemical Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Persian Gulf Fajr Energy Company, Omid Investment Management Group Company and Pars National Agro-Industry and Animal Husbandry Company.

 

IFX Falls 0.57%

Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX lost 105.06 points or 0.57% to close Monday at 18,419.01.

About 5.48 billion securities worth 1,406.01 trillion rials ($4.84 billion) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 363.8 million worth 235.01 billion rials ($810,370).

Ava Novin Investment Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.57% to reach 2,438 rials per share. The big loser was Pegah Gilan Dairy Company giving up 6.11% to reach 13,060 rials per share.

Arya Sasol Polymer Company, Iranian Ghadir Iron and Steel Company, Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical Company and Iran Fara Bourse had the most negative impact on IFX.

Zagros Petrochemical Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Saman Insurance Company, Caspian Tamin Pharmaceutical Company and Orumieh Petrochemical Company.
