    Tehran Stock Exchange main index, TEDPIX, gained 6,613.54 points or 0.47% on Wednesday to end at 1,414,347.82.

    About 11.42 billion shares worth 62.08 trillion rials ($214.08 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

    Shazand Petrochemical Company led the winners’ side as its shares shot up 5.95% to 34,710 rials per share.

    One and One Food Industry Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 4.84% to 32,620 rials per share.

    Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Nouri Petrochemical Company, Mines and Metals Development Investment Company and Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company.

    Tehran Oil Refining Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Chadormalu Mining And Industrial Company, Parsian Oil and Gas Development Group Company and MAPNA Group Company.

     

    IFX Edges Up 

    Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained 73.36 points or 0.4% to close Wednesday at 18,421.6.

    About 6.27 billion securities worth 77.85 trillion rials ($268.45m) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

    Sirjan Jahan Steel Complex had the highest number of traded shares at 645 million worth 1.62 trillion rials ($5.58 million).

    Pegah Golestan Dairy Company led the growth camp of IFB-listed companies climbing 6.33% to reach 13,430 rials per share.

    The big loser was Northeast Shahroud Industrial and Mining Company falling 5.46% to reach 96,150 rials per share.

    Damavand Power Generation Company, Day Bank, Tajali Mines and Metals Development Company and Takhte Jamshid Petrochemical Industries Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

    Arya Sasol Polymer Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Arfa Iron and Steel Company, Minoo Industrial Group Company and Pasargad Insurance Company.
