    TSE Adds 1.23%, IFX Follows Suit

    The main index of Tehran Stock Exchange, TEDPIX, gained 15,368.45 points or 1.23% on Monday to end at 1,269,833.38.

    An estimated 16.28 billion shares worth 92.6 trillion rials ($319.3 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

    Tehran Cement Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 6.92% to 24,560 rials per share.

    Kourosh Food Industry Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 4.96% to 9,000 rials per share.

    Kourosh Food Industry Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by One and One Food Industry Company, Azarbayjan Investment Development Company and Sazeh Pouyesh Company.

    Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Social Security Investment Company, Mobarakeh Steel Company and National Iranian Copper Industries Company.

     

    IFX Up 1.07%

    Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained 183.21 points or 1.07% to close Monday at 17,333.76. About 5.58 billion securities worth 1,418.95 trillion rials ($4.9 billion) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

    Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 333 million worth 194.94 billion rials ($672,231).

    Pouya Investment Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.94% to reach 2,004 rials per share.

    The big loser was Saman Insurance Company plunging 3.16% to reach 9,180 rials per share.

    Saman Insurance Company, Negin Software Systems Development Company, Sirjan Jahan Steel Complex and Taavon Insurance Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

    Arya Sasol Polymer Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Zagros Petrochemical Company, Marun Petrochemical Company and Dana Pharmaceutical Company.
