The main index of Tehran Stock Exchange, TEDPIX, gained 9,837.53 points or 0.79% on Sunday to end at 1,254,464.84.
About 7.41 billion shares worth 50.62 trillion rials ($174.6 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Charkheshgar Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 5.65% to 14,780 rials per share.
Leasing Khodro Ghadir Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 6.86% to 2,663 rials per share.
Kourosh Food Industry Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Sepid Farab Kavir Steel manufacturing Company, HiWeb Company (Dadeh Gostar Asr Novin) and Dana Insurance Company.
Mobarakeh Steel Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by National Iranian Copper Industries Company, Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company and Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company.

Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained 9.76 points or 0.06% to close Sunday at the 17,150.55. About 4.71 billion securities valued at 83.99 trillion rials ($289.6m) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Day Bank logged the highest number of traded shares at 342.83 million worth 197.04 billion rials ($679,472).
Northeast Shahroud Industrial and Mining Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.68% to reach 105,400 rials per share.
The big loser was Kish Parsian Electronic Commerce Company plunging 6.9% to reach 8,640 rials per share.
Damavand Power Generation Company, Minoo Industrial Group Company, Iranian Reinsurance Company and Iran Cultural Heritage and Tourism Investment Group Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
Marun Petrochemical Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Arya Sasol Polymer Company, Gohar Zamin Iron Ore Company and Lavan Oil Refining Company.
