Tehran Stock Exchange's main index TEDPIX lost 2,396.74 points or 0.18% on Wednesday to end at 1,310,165.88.
About 5.26 billion shares worth 32.78 trillion rials ($113.05 million) changed hands at TSE for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Asia Insurance Company was the biggest winner as its shares went up 6.69% to 1,595 rials per share.
Iran Darou Pharmaceutical Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies falling 4.76% to 12,810 rials per share.
Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company contributed the most to the benchmark's decline followed by Mobarakeh Steel Company, Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company and Esfahan Oil Refining Company.
Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Fanavaran Petrochemical Company, Ghadir Investment Company and Asia Insurance Company.

Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained 1.39 points or 0.01% to close Wednesday at 17,853.46.
About 3.66 billion securities worth 204.41 trillion rials ($704.9m) were traded at the over-the-counter exchang.
Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares with 424.62 million worth 269.87 billion rials ($930,603).
Marjan Kar Company was at the top with the highest growth among all IFB-listed companies posting 6.94% rise to reach 7,400 rials per share.
The main loser was Iran Shargh Leasing Company falling 4.94% to reach the 3,157 rials per share.
Iran Fara Bourse, Iran Cultural Heritage and Tourism Investment Group Company, Shiraz Oil Refining Company and Lavan Oil Refining Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
Zagros Petrochemical Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Damavand Power Generation Company, Melal Credit Institution and Day Bank.
