TSE and IFX Down

The TSE's main index TEDPIX lost 196.69 points or 0.02% on Monday to end at 1,311,091.60.

About 5.03 billion shares valued at 25.02 trillion rials ($86.28 million) changed hands at TSE for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

Charkheshgar Company was the top winner as its shares gained 5.4% to 16,580 rials per share.

Fanavaran Petrochemical Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 5.7% to 5,460 rials per share.

The Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company, Fanavaran Petrochemical Company and Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company.

Esfahan Oil Refining Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company, Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company and Tehran Oil Refining Company.

 

IFX Down 0.23%

Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX lost 40.73 points or 0.23% to close Monday trade at the 17,798.25.

About 5.18 billion securities worth 1,376.57 trillion rials ($4.74 billion) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Day Bank was in the lead as 310.1 million of its shares worth 187.61 billion rials ($646,944) were traded.

Marjan Kar Company ranked first with the highest growth among all IFB-listed companies with 6.59% rise to reach 6,470 rials per share.

The big loser was Hamoon Saba Investment Company declining 5.78% to reach the 1,598 rials per share.

Arya Sasol Polymer Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company, Iranian Ghadir Iron and Steel Company and Saba Tamin Investment Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

Bahman Diesel Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Melal Credit Institution, Daana Pharmaceutical Company and Iran Fara Bourse.
