Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index, TEDPIX, gained 9,662.05 points or 0.74% on Tuesday to end trade at 1,313,582.38. About 4.96 billion shares worth 28.02 trillion rials changed hands at TSE for the day.
Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Kavir Tire Company was the main winner as its shares climbed 6.98% to 4,259 rials per share. West Azarbaijan Pegah Dairy Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies losing 5.17% to 5,320 rials per share.
Opal Kani Pars Mining and Processing Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Sepid Farab Kavir Steel Company, Pars Shahab Lamp Company and Khazar Cement Company.
Isfahan Oil Refining Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Mobarakeh Steel Company, National Iranian Copper Industries Company, Bandar Abbas Refining Company and Tehran Oil Refining Company.

Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX also gained 142.05 points or 0.8% to close Tuesday trade at the 17,915.83.
About 2.931 billion securities worth 60 trillion rials were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares as 239.2 million of its shares worth 141.3 billion rials were traded.Iran Shargh Leasing Company was first with the highest growth among all IFB-listed companies rising 6.99% to reach 3,935 rials per share.
Northeast Shahroud Industrial & Mining Company sustained the biggest loss shedding 5.46% to reach the 83,300 rials per share.
Hormozgan South Steel Company, Northeast Shahroud Industrial & Mining Company, Saba Tamin Investment Company and Sirjan Jahan Steel Complex had the most negative impact on IFX.
Zagros Petrochemical Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Shahid Tondgouyan Petrochemical Company, Damavand Power Generation Company, Minoo Industrial Group and Dana Pharmaceutical Company.
