    Tehran Stocks Drop

    The Tehran Stock Exchange main index, TEDPIX, lost 1,162.83 points or 0.09% on Monday to end trade at 1,303,920.39.

    About 4.26 billion shares worth 23.8 trillion rials ($82.08 million) changed hands at TSE for the day.

    Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

    Dana Insurance Company was the main winner as its shares went up 6.69% to 1,611 rials per share. Negin Tabas Coal Company incurred the big loser among all TSE-listed companies and went down 4.99% to 13,890 rials per share.

    Middle East Mines and Mineral Industries Development Holding Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Pasargad Bank, National Iranian Copper Industries Company and Mobarakeh Steel Company.

    Esfahan Oil Refining Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Tehran Oil Refining Company, Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company and Fanavaran Petrochemical Company.

    Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX lost 50.23 points or 0.28% to close Monday at 17,773.79. About 4.43 billion securities valued at 1,348.81 trillion rials ($4.65 billion) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

    Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares as 263.92 million of its shares worth 153.04 billion rials ($527,727) were traded.

    Dena Afarin Fadak Food Preparation and Distribution Company ranked first as the company with the highest growth among all IFB-listed companies with 6.91% rise to reach 7,270 rials per share.

    The biggest loss was for Rayan Ham-Afza Company plunging 6.47% to buy 40,450 rials per share.

    Pasargad Insurance Company, Arya Sasol Polymer Company, Gohar Zamin Iron Ore Company and Saba Tamin Investment Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

    Zagros Petrochemical Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Lavan Oil Refining Company, Shiraz Oil Refining Company and Sirjan Jahan Steel Complex.
