The TSE's main index TEDPIX lost 3,311.67 points or 0.25% on Monday to end trade at 1,318,714.22.

About 3.92 billion shares worth 23.97 trillion rials ($82.67 million) changed hands at TSE for the day.

Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

Sobhan Pharmaceutical Group Company was the big winner as its shares went up 4.9% to 8,350 rials per share.

The Glass and Gas Industries Group Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies falling 4.63% to 11,530 rials per share.

Middle East Mines and Mineral Industries Development Holding Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Persian Gulf Fajr Energy Company, Chadormalu Mining And Industrial Company and Social Security Investment Company.

Ghadir Investment Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Esfahan Oil Refining Company, Esfahan Steel Company and Civil Pension Fund Investment Company.

Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX lost 58.26 points or 0.32% to close Monday at the 18,065.56.

About 4.05 billion securities valued at 1,413.12 trillion rials ($4.87 billion) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares as 235.97 million of its shares worth 141.24 billion rials ($487,041) were sold.

Sabzevar Lar Cement Company ranked first with the highest growth among all IFB-listed companies with 6.4% rise to reach 3,458 rials per share.

The biggest loss was for Isfahan Kesht Mechanized Agricultural Company with 5.82% fall to reach 21,050 rials per share.

Pasargad Insurance Company, Arya Sasol Polymer Company, Iranian Ghadir Iron and Steel Company and Gohar Zamin Iron Ore Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

Iran Fara Bourse gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Shiraz Oil Refining Company, Behpak Industrial Company and Sabzevar Lar Cement Company.
