The Tehran Stock Exchange main index TEDPIX lost 8,853.01 points or 0.67% on Sunday to end at 1,322,025.84.
About 7.98 billion shares worth 25 trillion rials changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Dana Insurance was the main winner as its shares went up 6.5% to 1,589 rials per share. Khazar Cement Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies losing 6.85% to 21,360 rials per share.
Bank Pasargad contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Middle East Mines & Mineral Industries Development Holding Company, Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company and Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company.
Iran Mercantile Exchange gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Tehran Stock Exchange Company, Dana Insurance Company, Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company and Iran Khodro Company.

Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX lost 36.99 points or 0.2% to close Sunday at 18,123.82. About 2.17 billion securities worth 63.9 trillion rials were traded at the junior equities exchange for the day.
Dey Bank had the highest number of traded shares as 427 million of its shares worth 259.8 billion rials were sold.
Dona Catering Company posted the highest daily growth among all IFB-listed companies with 6.99% rise to reach 5,568 rials per share. Isfahan Kesht Agricultural Company recorded the biggest loss declining 6.49% to 22,350 rials per share.
Marun Petrochemical Company gave the biggest boost the IFX on Saturday, followed by Iran Fara Bourse Company, Damavan Power Generation Company, Behpak Industrial Company.
Arya Sasol Polymer Company had the most negative impact on IFX, followed by Zagros Petrochemical Company, Omid Taban Hour Energy Management Company, Saba Tamin Investment Company and Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical Company.
