Tehran Stock Exchange Main Index Declines 1.16%

The Tehran Stock Exchange main index TEDPIX lost 15,684.78 points or 1.16% on Saturday to end at 1,330,978.14.

About 6.04 billion shares worth 40.2 trillion rials changed hands at the TSE for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

Dana Insurance was the main winner as its shares went up 6.72% to 1,492 rials per share. Tehran Stock Exchange Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies losing 6.78% to 5,090 rials per share.

Mobarakeh Steel Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Bandar Abbas Oil Refinery Company, National Iranian Copper Company and Isfahan Oil Refinery Company.

Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Dana Insurance Company, Asiatech Data Transmission Company, Sepahan Oil Company and Isfahan Cement Company

Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX lost 201.47 points or 1.09% to close Saturday at 18,160.81. About 3.12 billion securities worth 80.15 trillion rials were traded at the junior equities exchange for the day.

Dey Bank had the highest number of traded shares as 427 million of its shares worth 259.8 billion rials were sold.

Dona Catering Company posted the highest daily growth among all IFB-listed companies with 6.99% rise to reach 5,204 rials per share. Minoo Industrial Group recorded the biggest loss declining 6.48% to 6,350 rials per share.

Damavan Power Generation Company gave the biggest boost the IFX on Saturday, followed by Bahman Diesel Company, Minoo Industrial Group and Dona Catering. 

Arya Sasol Polymer Company had the most negative impact on IFX, followed by Zagros Petrochemical Company, Shiraz Oil Refinery Company, Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical Company and Iran Fara Bourse Company.
