Tehran stocks opened trading week Saturday under fresh selloff pressure that swept through almost all categories.
The benchmark of Tehran Stock Exchange, TEDPIX, dropped below the psychological support level of 1.4 million points seen in late March.
The main gauge of stock market shed 15,422.75 points for day and slipped 1.09% to end trade at 1,397,434. Less than 22% of the stocks gained on Saturday comprising 145 tickers while 511 ended in negative territory.
Net capital outflow by retain investors amounted to 3.92 trillion rials ($13 million), a staggering 120% increase on the session before.
Retail trade stood at 27.26 trillion rials ($90 million), down 13% from Wednesday. About 5.12 billion shares worth 32.57 trillion rials ($112.3m) changed hands at TSE for the day.
Trading at TSE and junior equities exchange Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Leasing Khodro Ghadir Company was the big winner as its shares went up 6.83% to 3,474 rials per share.
Iranian Leasing Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 6.38% to 3,186 rials per share.
Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Chadormalu Mining And Industrial Company, Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines Company and Pasargad Bank.
Mobin Energy Persian Gulf Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Sabzevar Pars Steel Complex, Sepahan Oil Company and Persian Gulf International Transportation Company.

Iran Fara Bourse main index, IFX, lost 136.99 points or 0.72% to close Saturday trade at the 18,981.
About 2.6 billion shares and securities worth 77.94 trillion rials ($268.77m) were traded at the junior equities exchange for the day.
Arya Sasol Polymer Company, Pasargad Insurance Company, Bahman Diesel Company and Zagros Petrochemical Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
Negin Software Systems Development Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Iran Cultural Heritage and Tourism Investment Group Company, Razi Distribution Company and Kish Parsian Electronic Commerce Company.
