The Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index TEDPIX lost 3,000 points or 0.21% during the week to Sept. 2 to close at 1,439,396.42.
Trading in Iran’s stock markets starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
The TSE’s equal-weighted index climbed 0.9%, showing that small caps were laggards.
The main index of the smaller over-the-counter exchange Iran Fara Bourse IFX shed 10 points or 0.05% during the week to end at 948.4.
Retail trade declined 2% on the preceding week with average daily trade decreasing from 33.03 trillion rials to 32.44 trillion rials.
Capital outflow by retail investors was near 7.06 trillion rials during the week, rising 14% on the week before.
TSE’s First Market Index shed 3,817 points or 0.35% to end at 1,078,699. The Second Market Index was down by 1,115 points or 0.04% to close at 2,822,955.
