TEDPIX Closes Slightly Lower

The benchmark of Tehran Stock Exchange, TEDPIX, lost 1,840.43 points or 0.13% on Wednesday to end trading week at 1,439,376.
A total of 5.27 billion shares valued at 43.06 trillion rials ($148.5 million) changed hands at TSE for the day.
Trading at TSE and junior equities exchange Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Fars Chemical Industries Company was the biggest winner as its shares went up 6.8% to 1,194 rials per share.
Bafgh Mines Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 4.83% to 28,360 rials per share.
National Iranian Copper Industries Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Mobarakeh Steel Company, Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company and Tamin Petroleum and Petrochemical Investment Company.
Pardis Petrochemical Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Saipa Automaker Company, Telecommunication Company of Iran and Ghadir Investment Company.

 

IFX Up 0.06%

Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained 11.54 points or 0.6% to close Wednesday at 19,310.44.
About 2.93 billion shares and securities valued at 177.16 trillion rials ($610.9m) were traded at the junior equities exchange for the day.
Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares as 227.21 million of its shares worth 164.7 billion rials ($567,927) were traded.
Iranian Ghadir Iron and Steel Company, Pasargad Insurance Company, Arya Sasol Polymer Company and Zagros Petrochemical Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
Damavand Power Generation Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Minoo Industrial Group Company, Jahrom Power Plant Development Company and Saba Tamin Investment Company.
