Stocks Close Slightly Higher

The main index of Tehran Stock Exchange, TEDPIX, closed session on Tuesday slightly higher, as selling pressure in the share market eased.

TEDPIX gained 2,415.51 points or 0.17% to end trading at 1,430,020.

At the close of the session, 328 tickers gained while 294 tickers ended in the negative territory, representing 47% of the total.

The value of retail trade rose 9% compared with the previous session to reach 19.68 trillion rials ($63.4 million) on Tuesday.
