    TEDPIX Closes Week Lower

    The benchmark of Tehran Stock Exchange, TEDPIX, closed trading week on Wednesday in negative territory, shedding 848.28 points or 0.07% to stand at 1,282,475.44.

    About 3.97 billion shares worth 26.27 trillion rials ($97.3 million) changed hands at TSE for the day.

    Trading at TSE and junior exchange Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

    Seamorgh Company was the biggest winner as its shares went up 4.99% to 21,050 rials per share.

    Iran Manganese Mining Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 4.88% to 13,250 rials per share.

    Tehran Oil Refining Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Iran Khodro Company, Esfahan Oil Refining Company and Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company.

    The Mines and Metals Development Investment Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index followed by Nouri Petrochemical Company, National Investment Company of Iran and Barakat Pharmaceuticals Group Company.

     

    IFX Near Flatline

    The main index of Iran Fara Bourse, IFX, ended near the flatline, losing 1.09 points or 0.01% to close Wednesday trade at 17,528.

    About 2.24 billion shares and securities valued at 21.22 trillion rials ($78.61m) were traded at the junior exchange for the day.

    Tajali Mines and Metals Development Company had the highest number of traded shares as 614.76 million of its shares worth 948.66 billion rials ($3.5m) were traded.

    Iranol Oil Company, Iran Fara Bourse, Negin Software Systems Development Company and Melal Credit Institution had the most negative impact on IFX.

    Tajali Mines and Metals Development Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Pouya Zarkan Agh Darreh Company, Iranian Reinsurance Company and Arya Sasol Polymer Company.
