    TEDPIX Ends Lower

    Tehran stocks closed Monday in negative territory paring gains made in the early hours of trade. 

    The benchmark of Tehran Stock Exchange, TEDPIX lost 4,273.22 points or 0.33% for the day to end at 1,306,531.

    Retail trade rose 3% to reach 23.73 trillion rials ($88 million) but retail traders registered the 18th straight session of net capital outflow on Monday reaching 2.75 trillion rials ($10.1m). 

    About 4.59 billion shares valued at 24.23 trillion rials ($86.5m) changed hands at TSE for the day.

    Iran Manganese Mining Company was the biggest winner as its shares went up 4.91% to 9,410 rials per share.

    Sina Chemical Industries Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 4.78% to 2,170 rials per share.

    National Iranian Copper Industries Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Mellat Bank, Mobarakeh Steel Company and Fanavaran Petrochemical Company.

    Iran Khodro Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index followed by Parsian Oil and Gas Development Group Company, Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company and Saipa Automaker Company.

     

    IFB Flat 

    Iran Fara Bourse main index, IFX, closed the session on flatline, gaining 3.39 points or 0.02% to close Monday trade at 17,875.

    About 3.11 billion shares and securities valued at 1,505.45 trillion rials ($5.37 billion) were traded at the junior exchange for the day.

    Gohar Zamin Iron Ore Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company, Chlor Pars Company and General Mechanic Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

    Minoo Industrial Group Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Iran Fara Bourse, Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical Company and Iranian Reinsurance Company.
