After an upbeat performance in the past two sessions, Tehran’s share market closed Monday trade in negative territory.
The main index of Tehran Stock Exchange, TEDPIX, lost 2,277 points or 0.17% to finish trade at 1,357,969.24. About 6.72 billion shares worth 44.47 trillion rials ($177.9 million) changed hands at TSE for the day.
Iran Mercantile Exchange was the biggest winner as its shares went up 5% to 26,670 rials per share. Kashan Amir Kabir Steel Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies shedding 5% to reach 29,080 rials per share.
The National Iranian Copper Industries Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Pardis Petrochemical Company, Chadormalu Mining And Industrial Company and Nouri Petrochemical Company.
