Tehran stocks opened on Sunday under renewed sell-side pressure, which partially eased in the later hours amid demand for some large caps.
The main index of Tehran Stock Exchange, TEDPIX, shed 8,325.07 points and lost 0.63% to close at 1,302,916.
TSE’s equal-weighted index was down 0.56%. The index reflects the performance of small-sized companies.
About 8.25 billion shares worth 63.52 trillion rials ($254.1 million) changed hands at TSE for the day.
