    TSE Drops 0.3%

    Tehran Stock Exchange closed on Sunday shedding 2,000 points in early trade before bouncing back later in the day.

    The TSE's main index TEDPIX closed 3,665.0 points lower, losing 0.32% to end trading at 1,141,290.

    Main gainers were auto, mineral, electronic equipment and cement stocks while the communication, technical engineering, mass construction and tire companies were among the big losers.   

    About 5.1 billion shares valued at 29.53 trillion rials ($123.05 million) changed hands at TSE for the day.

    Banks Employees Pension Fund Investment Company was the biggest winner as its shares went up 8.15% to 2,720 rials per share.

    Zagros Pars Pharmaceuticals Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and plummeted 9.95% to 15,200 rials per share.

    Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Tamin Petroleum and Petrochemical Investment Company, MAPNA Group Company and Parsian Bank.

    Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index followed by Esfahan Oil Refining Company, Iran Khodro Company and Nouri Petrochemical Company.

    Iran Fara Bourse main index, IFX, lost 19.08 points or 0.11% to close Sunday trade at 17,433.44. About 994.2 million shares and securities valued at 85.8 trillion rials ($357.5m) were traded at the junior exchange for the day.

    Kerman Province Development Investment Company had the highest number of traded shares as 128.7 million of its shares worth 137.6 billion rials ($573,370) were traded.

    Iran Cultural Heritage and Tourism Investment Group Company, Tejaratno Insurance Company, Kowsar Insurance Company and Vitana Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

    Arya Sasol Polymer Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Minoo Industrial Group Company, Damavand Power Generation Company and Zagros Petrochemical Company.
